Franklin Bank

Franklin Bank is a Texas-based community bank that has been nearly doubling its assets through aggressive acquisition every two years since it’s inception in 2001. As of December 2005, it was a $4.5 billion bank with 35 community banks, six commercial lending offices, and 49 loan production offices.

Their Web site that I was originally contracted to help maintain was a legacy site that had seen many masters. I worked directly with the EVP of Technology to keep it updated and slowly work through it’s many design, content, voice, and navigation issues. Realizing that the site was not scalable from a design, architecture and maintenance point of view, Franklin Bank agreed to a redesign.

I helped them find qualified vendors to provide project management and design services, and worked closely with the project manager and designer throughout the project on content, information architecture and technology issues.
