Body of Work

Nos Caves Vin: Premium Wine Storage & Services in Houston     Nos Caves Vin is Houston’s first wine storage facility inside the loop. This month, they launched both their business and their redesigned site–and they asked me to help. Working in tandem with the owner, I edited their existing copy, providing a more consistent message and tone for their upscale audience. I also made architecture and search engine optimization recommendations.

Membership is limited! Serious oenophiles with collections they want to protect should sign-up now. Nos Caves Vin also offers premium services to members including inventory management and collection consulting.

If I had a wine collection, this is where I’d put it.

I’ve been working on BurgerHouse.com since mid-Nov. ‘08 with Michel Godts eDesign. Though there was an existing site, the project was no simple redesign. It was a complete tear down. The glorious new site–with all new copy from moi–launched today and it’s a beaute!     Burger House Hamburgers: Since 1951
If you’re in the Dallas/Austin area and have not been to Burger House, drop everything and head there for lunch today. Get a burger buck coupon (and access to it in perpetuity) if you sign up for their monthly emails. If I lived in Dallas or Austin, I’d be having me a double-double, fries, and a gen-u-ine chocolate shake. Right now. Instead of writing this post.

Holy cow. Since the last update, I’ve been to DC twice and was in Honolulu when Hurricane Ike cut a path of destruction through the Galveston-Houston area. The needs assessment is awaiting final feedback from the client before I can close that project. The redesign project has stumbled along in fits and starts but continues to move forward. Ink Publishing asked me to write an article spotlighting a Houston-based AirTran employee for their Jan. issue. I’ve got another redesign project with MiyazakiWood.com. And I’ll be working on a new site with designer Michel Godts.
