I was contracted by Michel Godts to refresh some of the content for the launch of the updated Seaboard Franchise Consulting Services site. Specifically, I worked on editing home page content, every page of the Why Franchise? section, and the new Newsroom section (including writing the Keith Hudson lobbying in D.C. press release) under About Us. The biggest challenge was in creating readable, keyword rich content with good internal linking for search engine optimization. In the past, I helped edit the content for all of the Franchise Opportunities listed.

Spur Digital, an online marketing services company specializing in creating measurable interactive marketing strategies and solutions, added me to their stable of writers. The first project is to edit two e-mails and two landing pages as part of a marketing campaign for The Scooter Store. Results pending.

I’m branching out for WCities. I’m no longer just writing about places to eat. I’m also adding pieces about Houston nightlife, attractions and shopping.
